Emergency Contraception (Morning After Pill) Services

When should you think about using emergency contraception?
* When you have sex without any type of birth control.
* When using a condom, and believe the condom has broken or fallen off during sex.
* When using a diaphragm incorrectly, or noticing a hole in it.
* When using birth control pills, and forgetting to take the pill within a two day consecutive period.
* You have been a victim of rape.
How do I take emergency Contraception?
You have up to 72 hours (3 days) after unprotected sex to take Emergency Contraception/The Morning After Pill. We provide you with the pills. You will swallow two of these high dose pills and then 12 hours later take another 
dose, as prescribed by the physician.
